What personal information we collect, why we hold it, and your choices

Deal Chase runs no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We collect what is needed to run your account, operate the tools you use, and connect you with the counterparties you ask to be connected with — and very little else.
This policy covers personal information. How we hold and protect your documents and business data, including what is and is not sent to artificial intelligence providers, is set out in our Security and Data Handling Policy.
When you register. Your name, email address and password, which role you are using the Platform in, and which tools you selected.
When you accept an agreement on the Platform. The fact of acceptance, the date and time, and the IP address and browser the acceptance came from. We keep this because it is the record that you executed the agreement, and it is retained for as long as that agreement could matter.
When you build a company profile. Your company name, address, phone, email, website, industry, description, employee count, and revenue and size ranges. Capital providers additionally supply their lending or investment criteria and contact details for their firm.
When you use the tools. The figures and answers you enter — revenue, profit, assets, liabilities, valuation inputs, borrowing base calculations, search criteria, prospect lists and outreach records. This is business information about a company rather than information about you personally, but it sits alongside your account and we treat it with the same care.
When you upload documents. Held as described in the Security and Data Handling Policy.
Automatically. Standard web server logs, which include IP addresses and request records, kept for security and troubleshooting. Session cookies that keep you signed in. Nothing else.
We do not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta pixels, or any other third-party analytics or advertising tracker. We do not build advertising profiles, and no advertising network receives anything from this Platform.
To operate your account and give you access to the tools you have selected. To perform the calculations you ask for. To introduce you to counterparties, and to let a counterparty you have chosen see the profile information you have made available for matching. To send you messages about your account, your transactions and the Platform. To take payment. To keep the Platform secure and to investigate misuse. And to comply with the law and to establish or defend legal claims, which is why the agreement acceptance record exists.
Where matching is concerned, what a counterparty sees is what your profile makes available for that purpose, and capital providers control their own visibility through a matching setting. We do not disclose your identity to a counterparty in an anonymous outreach unless you choose to identify yourself.
The service providers listed in the Security and Data Handling Policy — currently Amazon Web Services, Anthropic, ElevenLabs and Stripe — each for the defined purpose stated there, and each receiving only what that purpose requires. The counterparties, advisors and team members you grant access to. Our professional advisors where necessary. And a public authority where the law requires it, or a party to litigation where we are compelled to produce records.
We do not sell personal information. We have not done so, and this policy would have to change before we could.
We will send you messages about your account and your transactions because they are part of the service. We will send you marketing about Deal Chase only where you have asked for it or where the law permits it, and every marketing message carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not stop the messages you need in order to use the Platform.
Account and profile information is kept for as long as your account is open. Documents are kept until you delete them or ask us to. Agreement acceptance records are kept for as long as the agreement could be relevant, which will normally be well after the account closes. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
When an account is deleted, the associated company records are deleted with it automatically.
You can see and correct your account and profile information from within the Platform at any time, and you can control which documents a counterparty can reach through the folder permissions in your data room. To ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have your account and its data deleted, write to info@DealChase.ai and we will do it and confirm when it is done.
Where we are required to keep a record — an executed agreement, for example — we will tell you what we are keeping and why.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law, including the right to complain to a regulator. Exercising any of these rights costs nothing and we will not treat you differently for it.
In the United States. Our infrastructure and our service providers are US-based, and documents are stored in Amazon's US East (Northern Virginia) region. If you use the Platform from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and held there.
The Platform is for business use by adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a revised version number and effective date, and will notify registered users of any change that materially affects how we handle their information.
